When he saw what was going on, he knew he had to step in. On Valentine’s Day, biker Brandon Turnbow showed how much love was in his heart when he stopped everything to save a little dog who was being abused on the roadside while driving his motorcycle down a Texas highway.

This Burleson man proved to the world that he had a tender side, despite giving off the impression of being a tough-looking biker with tattoos and leather gear. Turnbow was riding on Highway 171 near Cresson, Texas when something odd caught his eye. And from this event, little did Turnbow know that it would forever alter his life, and the “tough guy” demonstrated that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

Turnbow saw a terrible beating occurring on the side of the road. He saw a cruel man beating up a little dog. Turnbow was shocked, and he quickly decided to give the guy a piece of his mind. But before he could say anything, the man threw the dog onto the curb and drove away.

After the dog was abandoned, the hero rescuer went to check on the dog. The little dog was hurt and scared, and Turnbow knew he couldn’t just leave him there. Turnbow slowly approached the dog, who was shivering. The pet was on the side of the highway, at risk of getting run over by other vehicles. Turnbow picked him up and quickly rode to catch up with the former abusive owner.

In a Facebook post, Turnbow then went to share the incident, in the post he wrote, “[I] was riding out an saw a vehicle pulled over on 171 with a worthless piece of crap beating an innocent little white dog,”

“I take a chance and just fold my body over him to see if he will bite or trust me,” Turnbow wrote on Facebook. “He then just lays his body into me shaking so I just stand up with him in my arms and sit him on the bike seat. I was thinking now what?”

“I watched in my rearview and saw this guy throw the dog into the air curbside and drive off. I went after the guy just to give him a number one sign. And I now have a Copilot- Meet Mr. DAVIDSON,” he added.

Turnbow picked up the battered dog, saving his life and giving him a second chance after allegedly making sure to give the guy the finger. Turnbow dubbed the dog Mr. Davidson and made him his brave co-pilot after deciding to officially adopt the dog and give him the home he deserved. The dog was at last secure, and as its new owner, Turnbow swore an oath to Mr. Davidson.

Additionally, he has images that show he followed his promise. In numerous pictures, Mr. Davidson can be seen riding alongside his new best friend, adoring the sensation of the wind on his face, and relaxing after a long day of driving. You’ll never have to worry again in your life, ’bout getting kicked down and thrown to the side,” Turnbow said. We’ll always have fun and go riding in the sun, Mr. Davidson.”

“Well looks like my Co pilot has found peace, his belly is full and he found the pillow,” Turnbow wrote on Facebook, sharing an image of Mr. Davidson sleeping soundly.

However, Brandon Turnbow benefited from the circumstance in more ways than just finding a beloved and appreciative new partner. In addition, Mr. Davidson gave him the inspiration to start “Baaang: Bikers Against Animal Abuse National Global,” a nonprofit organization.
