Everyone is needed to prevent Texas Governor Greg Abbott from fortifying the southern border as tens of thousands of undocumented individuals enter the US daily due to Joe Biden’s open border policy.
A temporary injunction issued by US District Judge David Ezra, a Reagan appointee, has halted a Texas law granting local police authority to apprehend illegal immigrants.
“The preliminary injunction granted by U.S. District Judge David Ezra pauses a law that was set to take effect March 5 and came as President Joe Biden and his likely Republican challenger in November, Donald Trump, were visiting Texas’ southern border to discuss immigration. Texas officials are expected to appeal.” – ABC News reported.
In December, Governor Greg Abbott (R) signed a bill granting Texas police the authority to arrest undocumented immigrants in response to the influx of migrants at the border during President Biden’s administration.
“Biden’s deliberate inaction has left Texas to fend for itself,” Abbott said, adding the new bill is designed to “stop the tidal wave of illegal entry into Texas.”

Groups on the far-left, including organizations focused on civil rights like the ACLU, have taken legal action by filing lawsuits to oppose Abbott’s recent law.
“Ezra wrote in his decision that allowing Texas to “permanently supersede federal directives” due to an invasion would “amount to nullification of federal law and authority — a notion that is antithetical to the Constitution and has been unequivocally rejected by federal courts since the Civil War.”” ABC News reported.
Joe Biden is traveling to Texas to visit the southern border for a photo opportunity. President Trump will also be present at the southern border on Thursday.
