In wanting to give back to her loyal fans, Model Karely Ruiz from Mexico decided to host a contest in which she would give away a free liposuction procedure, which has a value of up to $10,000 depending on the location because she had amassed more than three million followers on the subscription platform known for its adult entertainment content and racy photos and videos.
Although the OnlyFans strategy’s extravagant gift to an unyielding fan would soon take a dramatic turn, no one saw it coming, as the model and influencer ended up creating one of the most emotional moments.
“Since I have already reached 3 million followers on Instagram and they have already verified me, I am going to give away a lipo for all my precious, beautiful girls so that you can look really hot. I’ll leave it here. Comment if you have (not) already done so,” Ruiz said on TikTok.
By straddling technology across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and OnlyFans, the 21-year-old Ruiz has been able to build a lucrative career for herself as an internet model. Because she’s smart, quick, and hot, people are willing to pay to watch Ruiz in action.
While many people were eager to get the free liposuction procedure, Ruiz was struck still by a woman who was asking her for something else. As the surprise twist came as Ruiz was scrolling through her followers’ responses to her promotion.
The message that caught the attention of the influencer was that of a mother, who asked her, instead of an operation, to help her son with cancer. The mother asks for help to pay for chemotherapy for her son Sebastián Herrera, 17, who suffers from Edwing’s Sarcoma with metastases to the skull, lungs, and bones.
The young man’s mother said, “Karely I don’t like lipo, I want you to give me chemo for my son Sebas. He was 17 years old and I was taking him to Monterrey for his treatment. We are from Torreón.“
Ewing’s sarcoma is a very rare type of cancerous tumor that grows in your bones or the soft tissue around your bones, such as cartilage or the nerves. It mainly affects children and young people but is also seen in adults. And it’s more common in males than females. Sebastián Herrera’s mother wrote on TikTok, “It’s an opportunity for Sebastián. He wants to live.”
And instead of giving away a liposuction procedure to one of her many female fans, Ruiz saw a way she could help a young man fight cancer. The model then decided to give Herrera chemotherapy, which generated some reactions on social networks.
Ruiz replied, “And we’ll give it to him,” committing to helping the boy.
On May 26, 2022, Ruiz took a break from her busy modeling career; she went to see Herrera and his mother. Ruiz pledged she would cover the $19,000 cost of the teenager’s remaining four treatments while standing with Herrara and his family. She then took the teenager on a shopping trip at the mall. Both a brand-new Nintendo Switch and a PlayStation 5 were Herrara’s takeaways.
Through her Instagram account, the influencer shared a photo after meeting the young man, who posed with him holding a Nintendo Switch console.
“Nice to meet you. Blessings”, commented Karely Ruiz, full of praise from his followers.
Ruiz is also a very generous person with a good heart, in addition to being a popular model on social media.
