Everyone has their favorite brand of just about any product that you can think of.
When it comes to pistols, I have chosen Glock for many years. My own personal preferences aside, they make an objectively quality product.
The one fly in the ointment is that because it is a gun, that means that anti-gun groups and any Democrat within earshot are going to try to mess with Glock as much as possible.
What’s the easiest way to mess with a corporation? Well, you file as many frivolous lawsuits as you possibly can.
I’ve seen it happen to so many different companies over the years, gun manufacturers or not. I mean, look at the lady with the McDonald’s coffee back in the day. Look at how many people have slipped and fell on purpose next to a wet floor sign so they could get some money out of a grocery store.
People only file lawsuits under a couple of conditions. The first is that if they have a rock-solid case with loads of evidence and there is no way they can lose.
The other is if they have someone pulling the strings behind the scenes that will tip the scales in a party’s favor as much as possible.
And when it comes to gun groups, you know that the Biden White House has been doing everything they can to keep their thumb on the scale to help out these anti-gun groups violate people’s Second Amendment rights.
One of these groups that has been trying to take guns from people is called Everytown for Gun Safety.
Now, when I think a gun safety organization, I envision a group that teaches firearm owners to use guns safely. You know, like how to safely clean a pistol, how to safely transport ammunition; things like that.
Everytown for Gun Safety’s name alone is an exercise in lunacy where they want to confiscate firearms outright or make them so difficult to own that people don’t even bother.
Their vision of “gun safety” is kinda like having an organization called ‘Condom Manufacturers for Abstinence’.
The White House has been giving this organization as much help as it possibly can filing these frivolous lawsuits against Glock and other gun manufacturers.
However, not all hope is lost. We still have some people that are out there defending the Second Amendment. One of those proud patriots is James Comer.
Recently, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee James Comer (R-Ky.) fired off a letter in response to the White House’s political gamesmanship. In short, Chairman Comer demanded that Stefanie Feldman, the Director of the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, quit stalling and provide answers over “potential collaboration” between Biden administration officials and Everytown for Gun Safety.
Comer announced the investigation into the potential collusion between Biden, gun-control groups and the city of Chicago itself in the effort to bring a lawsuit against Glock.
What these gun groups are alleging is that Glock is somehow responsible for people attaching an illegal “switch” to their handguns.
The House Oversight Committee recently learned that White House officials actually met with Glock to try and strongarm them into making a design alternation to the company’s handguns.
I mean really, if I take a bucket of Dutch Boy paint and instead of redoing the backyard fence I pour it on my neighbor’s car because he was blocking my driveway; should the government help my neighbor sue Dutch Boy paint?
Hell no! What the White House is doing for these gun control groups is like if a baseball umpire calls time for a batter instead of the batter doing it themselves.
Once someone buys something, aside from a warranty issue, a company’s responsibility is over the second the transaction is closed.
All this does is prove once again that the Biden Administration is doing everything it can on the way out of town to burn the Second Amendment to the ground.
