Texas AG Ken Paxton Vows to Defy Supreme Court Ruling – The Conservative

On Monday evening, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton made a strong declaration to disregard the Supreme Court’s ruling regarding razor wire at the southern border.

In a 5-4 decision, the US Supreme Court supported the Biden administration’s position and authorized Border Patrol agents to remove the razor wire installed along the Texas-Mexico border.

This marks the ninth instance out of fourteen emergency applications where the Supreme Court has favored the Biden administration. Unfazed by this outcome, Ken Paxton retaliated and pledged to protect Texas’ sovereignty.

“The Supreme Court’s temporary order allows Biden to continue his illegal effort to aid the foreign invasion of America. The destruction of Texas’s border barriers will not help enforce the law or keep American citizens safe. This fight is not over, and I look forward to defending our state’s sovereignty.” Ken Paxton said.

Governor Greg Abbott (R) had previously implemented approximately 30 miles of razor wire along the Texas-Mexico border near Eagle Pass to address the influx of unauthorized immigrants facilitated by the Biden administration.

In October, Attorney General Ken Paxton from Texas filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration over their decision to remove razor wire barriers at the border.

After a federal judge ruled in favor of Biden, the lawsuit proceeded to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
