Jason Sudeikis was surrounded by fans and paparazzi on Sunday evening as he tried to leave the Dynasty Typewriter Comedy Club in Los Angeles.

The actor, attending a book release event, was met by a crowd of 15 to 20 people who had waited hours for a glimpse of him.

Video from TMZ shows Sudeikis, with a green backpack, trying to escape the mob as he walked down the street.

In the clip, someone can be heard asking him for a photo.

Sudeikis initially signed a few autographs but soon became overwhelmed by the crowd. He eventually turned to the group, asking them to stop.

“Please stop. Stop! I’m not going to sign anything, okay? I literally have to go. I’m sorry,” Sudeikis pleaded, clearly shaken by the situation.

“That was a lot. That scared the s— out of me,” he added, referencing the crowd that had followed him.

“For real, I’m just a human being. Please stop. Please. I’m going home. Goodnight, alright?” he continued apologetically.

Sudeikis isn’t the only “Ted Lasso” star to express frustration with fan behavior. Hannah Waddingham had a similar experience this spring at the Olivier Awards.

She called out a photographer for an inappropriate comment, saying, “Oh my god, you’d never say that to a man, my friend.”

Waddingham didn’t hold back, warning the photographer to stop or she would walk away. Fans nearby seemed amused by her bold response.
