Former NFL Player Sergio Brown remains missing after his 73-year-old mother was found dead. The tragedy has left family and friends of the former National Football League player in shock.
Sergio Brown, a former star defensive back for the Jacksonville Jaguars, played professionally for nine years in the NFL. He had been living with his elderly mother for some time before her death and he has not been seen or heard from since then.
The news of Sergio’s mother being found dead came as a shock to everyone who knew them both. She had been reported missing several days before her body was discovered in an area close to their home.
Police have not yet released any information about how she died but they have said that foul play is suspected and they are actively searching for Sergio. Sergio’s friends and family have taken to social media to spread awareness about his disappearance and ask anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or know where he could be to come forward with information.

They are also offering a reward for any information leading to his whereabouts. The Jacksonville Jaguars organization has also offered their support during this difficult time by releasing a statement expressing their deepest sympathies and prayers for Sergio’s safe return: “Our hearts go out to the family of Mr Brown at this difficult time,” it read in part. “We pray that he will be found safe and sound soon.”
Police are continuing their investigation into what happened with Sergio’s mom as well as trying to find him but so far no leads have been uncovered that would help them locate him.
His friends and family remain hopeful though that he will be found soon so they can get some answers as well as closure on this heartbreaking situation. In the meantime, people everywhere are asked to keep an eye out for Sergio or provide any helpful tips if they can so police can bring him home safely as quickly as possible
