Joe Biden is seeking assistance from Mexican President Lopez Obrador to address the influx of illegal immigrants across the US southern border.
Since Biden assumed office, more than 10 million individuals have entered the United States illegally.
In December alone, this number reached a new record high of over 300,000 individuals crossing from Mexico into the US.
This massive influx can be attributed to policies supported by both the Democratic Party and some Republicans who have failed to prioritize protecting their country.
Interestingly, NBC News reports that Biden’s concern about the border stems from its impact on his polling numbers rather than recognizing it as a threat to the integrity of the United States itself.
This stands in stark contrast to former President Trump’s successful efforts in significantly reducing illegal migration during his tenure.
