A woman shoots a 7-month-old baby (Philadelphia Police Department).

A Pennsylvania woman is behind bars after she allegedly shot at a mother, father and their 7-month-old child, striking the boy in the leg while saying “F— your baby, b—-.”

Philadelphia police arrested 28-year-old Dominique Billips on an aggravated assault charge, local NBC affiliate WCAU reported. Cops released the horrifying surveillance video on YouTube before they arrested Billips in hopes of catching the shooter. It shows the woman later identified as Billips walk up to the parents and fire two shots. The father runs away, leaving the mother and his baby in the stroller behind. The shooter walks past the mother and the stroller, and then fires another shot toward the mother and baby at point-blank range.

“My baby!” the mother screamed.

Billips allegedly responded: “F— your baby, b—-” before walking away.

The shots missed the parents, but struck the baby in the leg, cops said. It occurred on Thursday in the 4000 block of Meridian Street in northeast Philadelphia. Cops said a good Samaritan took the baby to the hospital. He is in stable condition.

WCAU spoke to the person who rushed the baby to the hospital.

“When I find out the baby was 7 months and both parents said they have warrants. They got out the car and I took the baby. I just felt like I had to protect this child. It was overwhelming. It was scary. This person came up and didn’t care with no remorse and just fired and walked away like nothing happened,” he told the outlet.

Philadelphia police Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum said in an interview with WCAU that it took them an hour to find the parents. He said the parents fled because they feared police would arrest them on the warrants.

“This looks like this all stems from a $100 narcotics debt, is what we are being told,” Rosenbaum told the outlet. “So it’s sad, you see that video, she literally points the gun at the mother of the baby — who is also a juvenile — and fires. Luckily she missed and that’s probably when the baby got hit.”

Billips is expected to be arraigned on the charges on Monday.
