Did The Deep State Send A Signal To Deep Six Tucker Carlson…

Caught in a tangled web of contracts and power plays, a prominent conservative voice fights to break free from a major news network before the pivotal 2024 election.

Despite the cancellation of his show, it seems Tucker Carlson is still stuck in the Fox News web, as the network appears reluctant to cut him loose from his contract. Some insiders claim that Fox bigwigs are plotting to keep Carlson on a leash until the dust settles after the 2024 election, effectively stopping him from joining rival news networks.

Dan Bongino, another top-rated host who left Fox News recently, is also in the same boat. These juicy tidbits were shared by sources who decided to spill the beans to Matthew Boyle of Breitbart News, but only if they could keep their identities a secret.

Boyle learned that there’s more to the story than what Fox News has let on and much of the gossip that’s spread since Carlson’s show got the axe is simply bogus. According to the insiders, both Bongino and Carlson are trying to work out deals that will let them walk away from Fox News, but they’ll have to zip their lips about what really went on behind the scenes.

Megyn Kelly, a former Fox host herself, confirmed that Carlson hasn’t been booted from the network just yet. It seems like he’s stuck in a game of contract tug-of-war, and plenty of conservatives are hoping he’ll be free to share his perspective in time for the 2024 election. However, the Murdoch family, who pulls the strings at Fox News, appears to have deliberately wiped out their biggest shows to show who’s boss. This power play has led to some serious turbulence within the company.

In the meantime, Fox News’ viewership during Carlson’s old 8 pm time slot has taken a nosedive, with about half the audience tuning out within a matter of days. But maybe the network big shots underestimated Carlson’s ability to draw a crowd on his own, outside of the cable news bubble.

When he took to Twitter after his show’s cancellation, he attracted a bigger audience than ever before, hinting that the era of cable news as we know it might just be on its last legs.
