Harris, despite proposing to continue building the border wall if elected president, faces pushback from liberal groups that oppose her border stance.
Yet, many still support her campaign despite these contradictions.
Republican Governor Greg Abbott of Texas has launched efforts to combat criminal gangs like the Tren De Aragua, which originated in Venezuela, as part of ongoing border challenges.
National Border Patrol Council Vice President Chris Cabrera emphasized that the issue extends beyond the border states, warning that unchecked migration impacts the entire country.
