The San Diego Unified School District in California decided to launch an “anti-Islamaphobia” measure, and it backfired spectacularly when one parent found out what that actually meant.
The initiative was met with backlash from many, but Christopher Wyrick made it abundantly clear in a passionate speech that he is not content with the school district forcing children– including his own – to learn Islamic cultures.
Father and patriot, Wyrick stood in front of the San Diego Unified School District board and unleashed on the members because he was fed up with Islam being shoved down his child’s throat.
This man is a true hero! God Bless him! He did not back down! “You’re gonna have to drag me outta here.”
Meanwhile, Trustee Kevin Beiser spoke at the board meeting, clarifying the program amid confusion from parents.
“We will not allow Muslim students in San Diego schools to be spit on,” Beiser said, San Diego Tribune reported.
“All students should be safe,” one parent agreed.
Here’s how his viral speech to the board members began:
“My name’s Christopher Wyrick, I’m a resident of San Diego. I’m a taxpayer, a father, a husband, and a very, very proud American. Over the years, I’ve had many titles. One of them I will not accept is infidel.
There has been an argument over the years to keep religious beliefs out of schools, especially any that happen to be associated with Judaism or Christianity. So at what point did you decide that it was OK to teach my children about Islam?”
Wyrick then went on to detail how there must be a separation between religion and schools, adding that he could not fathom why the district thought it would be acceptable to form a partnership with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in order to “implement a pro-Islam curriculum in schools.”
“What’s next? Teaching them about the five pillars or the conversion prayer?” he asked.
“OK, thank you very much,” one board member said as he tried to silence the father from continuing his speech.
“Oh, dude, I’m going to go. You’re going to have to drag me out of here,” the father fired back as he continued giving his speech.
The crowd erupted with laughter, applause, and encouragement from the crowd as the father was cheered for having the courage to speak his mind.
As Wyrick pointed out, CAIR has been linked to several terrorist organizations and has been labeled as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the Holy Land Foundation trial from 2010. The Holy Land Foundation was found guilty of handling and providing material support to many terrorist organizations.
As the father closed out his speech, police showed up and tried to remove him from the podium. Just before he left, the dad added one last statement for the district board members.
“You guys are hypocrites and you should protect your children,” he said.
Several other citizens can be seen voicing their concerns about the new initiative in schools, but it was Wyrick who provided all of the fireworks as he dismantled their “anti-Islamophobia” measure.
According to AWM, many commenters equated the anti-Islamophobia campaign as implementing sharia law in the school district.
“Keep after them Mr. Wyrick,” one reader commented on the site’s Facebook page. “The organization CAIR is a front for the Muslim brotherhood and every member of CAIR is a member of The Muslim Brotherhood and all of them are members of HAMAS.CAIR is pushing these Islam teachings nationwide and infiltrating the school. These teaching are actually FORCED Conversion to Islam and it is ILLEGAL. Everybody on the San Diego School Board should be fired ASAP.”
“Good for you sir. I stand behind you 100%,” another added. “This crap doesn’t belong in America’s school systems. Can you even begin to imagine if we went to their Country and did not assimilate to their beliefs? This is America and we already have our beliefs and if you don’t like it, then you shouldn’t be living in this Country. You knew what this Country was long before you came here.”
“If Christians tried to enact this…all HELL would break loose,” another wrote. “Parents wake up and get involved and stop this evil from happening before it’s too late. We the people are responsible for what’s taking place in our country and we the parents need to take back our schools!”
