Since Joe is so unpopular, the Democrats sent former President Barack Obama to Michigan to rally support for Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
The move is part of a Democrat blitz to rally their base around candidates that are struggling to win re-election.
It is unclear what the heckler was saying while Obama was speaking, but the former president seemed frazzled to quell him.
“Come on,” Obama whined as he paused for almost two minutes to try and quell the heckler.
“But this is what I mean. This is what I mean. I mean we’re having a conversation,” Obama said.
After the man was removed by security, Obama lectured the crowd about civility.
Right now, I’m talking. You’ll have a chance to talk sometime soon. We don’t have to interrupt each other. We don’t have to shout each other down, that’s not a good way to do business. You wouldn’t do that in workplaces. You wouldn’t just interrupt people in the middle of a conversation. It’s not how we do things.
Heckler was so disruptive Obama struggled to get the crowd’s attention.
“So listen,” Obama said in an attempt to regain control of the crowd. “No, no, no no. Wait, wait, wait,” Obama repeatedly said.
“Quiet down,” Obama told the crowd. At one point, he shouted, “Hold on a minute,” at the crowd to regain their attention.
He looked like a substitute teacher trying to get control of an unruly classroom.

Republican challenger Tudor Dixon stated that Whitmer’s plan to bring in Obama was too little too late.
“Now they’re bringing in Barack Obama. They brought in Kamala Harris. They brought in Joe Biden. Most people are running from Joe Biden; Gretchen Whitmer is bringing him in. It’s just marrying her more to those radical policies,” Dixon told Breitbart News. “They believe that Barack Obama can bring this back to her, and I think it’s too little, too late.”
Things don’t seem to go well for Democrats when Obama comes in to “save” a candidate.
On October 21, 2022, Obama campaigned for the Democratic candidate for Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe, who lost dramatically to Republican Glenn Youngkin.
