When Biden let one loose while overseas it was funny and hey it happens especially when you are as medically compromised as Biden is. But what occurred during the US Naval Academy graduation is just embarrassing and frankly disrespectful to members of the armed services.
“Before I begin my speech, a thought crossed my mind as I was told the Class of ‘72 is here, Biden said. “I was appointed to the Academy in 1965 by a senator who I was running against in 1972. (Laughter.) Never planned it that way. I wasn’t old enough to be sworn in. I was only 29 years old when I was running. He was a fine man, and his name was J. Caleb Boggs.”
“I didn’t come to the Academy because I wanted to be a football star. And you had a guy named Staubach and Bellino here. So I went to Delaware,” he added.
That is a flat-out lie.
Biden defeated then-Senator J. Caleb Boggs in 1972 and graduated from the University of Delaware in 1965. President Joe Biden was never appointed to the Naval Academy.
Matter of fact, Joe received five student deferments to get out of Vietnam and was declared “unfit” for service due to asthma in 1968.
Ed O’Keefe, CBS News, asked about Biden’s little lie during a press conference and the response from the White House was a disgrace.
O’ Keefe asked, “I want to just clarify…something [Biden] said…during his address at the Naval academy. [He] was born in 1942, graduated from the University of Delaware in 1965…He said he was appointed [there] in 1965? Was he?”
I “did not hear that part,” was the official response from Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

It is no small feat to get into the Naval Academy let alone graduate from it and here is Joe Biden trying to delusionally pander.
