Teenage Cheerleader Brutally Murdered by Illegal Immigrant!

I believe that all parents in the United States are terrified of their children being murdered cold-bloodedly. I say “escalated” because our president and his administration have insisted on keeping our southern border open.

They’ve forced all of us to live in a state of high alert by doing nothing to close it. The homicide of 16-year-old Lizbeth Medina should serve as a wake-up call to parents.

Jacqueline Medina, her mother, should be planning a fantastic Christmas. She is instead preparing for her daughter’s funeral.

Jacqueline Medina discovered her daughter’s lifeless body in the bathtub of their apartment in Edna, Texas, on Tuesday, according to KRIV-TV in Houston. According to KHOU-TV in Houston, she had been stabbed. At the start of the inquiry, a police news release branded the killing a “capital murder” case. As a result, the death sentence was considered a possible punishment.

Rafael Govea Romero, a 23-year-old illegal alien, was charged in the case five days later. According to ABC News, his bond is set at $2 million.

Jacqueline Medina left for work about 6 a.m. on the day her daughter died, expecting to see Lizbeth perform with her Edna High School cheerleading squad in the Edna Christmas parade that evening.

Jacqueline Medina became concerned when she arrived at the parade after work to discover her daughter missing. She told Fox News that she hurriedly called her daughter. She did not receive a response.

The terror must have been palpable. She’d subsequently learn that no one had heard from Lizbeth after 7:30 a.m. that day. It compelled Medina to look for her daughter in their apartment complex.

It is a moment that can only be experienced once. Jacqueline Medina will likely replay the experience for the rest of her life. And wondering what she could have done differently, even if the truth was nothing.

Ana Medina, Lizbeth Medina’s aunt, claimed on a GoFundMe page that the Medina family relocated to the 6,000-person small town a year ago to pursue a new career. Jacqueline was dealing with money, while Lizbeth was making new friends and adjusting to a new school.

The youngster, known as a decent kid, acclimated well to her new surroundings, roughly 100 miles outside of Houston.

It’s unclear how Romero became involved or whether he even knew Lizbeth Medina before her death. According to ABC, police have not stated whether or not the two were in a relationship.

The Edna Police Department reported Romero’s arrest on Sunday.

According to ABC, police chief Rick Boone described Romera as an “undocumented male” who was present in the country on an expired visa.

Romero should not have been in the country with an expired visa, let alone detained on suspicion of murder.

According to KTRK-TV, Romero seemed to fit the description that the Texas Rangers and Edna police had given.

According to a news release, the man observed leaving the Medinas’ apartment was described as having a probable tattoo behind his ear, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and driving a silver Ford Taurus.

Boone told KTRK that “officers seized a motor vehicle and items of evidence tending to connect this suspect, Romero, to the murder of Lizbeth Medina.”

He did not reveal the nature of the evidence that led the police to suspect that Romero murdered Medina.

Another news release shared by the police department announced that “Although Romero is apprehended, we recognize Lizbeth’s family and friends are grieving and still need support from the community. The citizens of Edna can now sleep in peace!”

They simply cannot. None of us can since, according to the current Biden administration, there are plenty of undocumented illegals wandering around free like Romero.

Are there violent criminals in America who aren’t illegal immigrants? Without a doubt. However, this simply emphasizes the importance of keeping away people who have no right to be here in the first place.

However, without border control, it is impossible to determine the criminal past or intentions of the millions who entered the nation illegally under the Biden administration and continue to do so with impunity.

We are currently a nation without homeland security or borders. Lizbeth Medina is far from the first victim of an illegal alien. She is not the last.

According to KTRK, the community paid tribute to her on Thursday night by wearing purple to the Edna High School playoff game in Cypress. According to the New York Post, the girl’s favorite color was purple.

That, however, will not bring her back. A vigil planned for 6 p.m. Sunday at Edna High School Cowboy Stadium will not either. Neither will the GoFundMe campaign or any funds raised through it.

We used to believe that little towns were relatively immune from such horrific crimes.

No more.

What happened in Edna, Texas, may very well happen in your backyard right now.
