She Is Forcing Her Children To Kneel To Black Women, And Everyone Who Knows Her Is…

A TikTok video showing a white mom teaching her three sons to kneel and lip-sync to the lyrics “All hail Black women” has caused controversy on social media.

The video depicts the boys praying as the lyrics play, and it has divided viewers. Some believe the mom is using the Black Lives Matter movement to gain fame, while others appreciate her efforts to raise her children to respect marginalized communities.

The video, which was uploaded by a user known as TeenyChamp, shows the mom holding one of her children and saying, “Black women are the reason Donald Trump is no longer going to be our president.” She then turns the camera to show her three boys on their knees in a playground as they bow and lip-sync to the audio track.

Although many viewers were relieved that the video did not take a racist turn, some criticized the mom for using the movement to gain fame.

A woman of color commented, “It’s annoying when people make these videos just for clout and not because they genuinely agree.” Despite this, many Black people expressed support for the mom, with comments such as “You’re raising Kings!” and “Teaching them right.”

The mom uploaded a follow-up video to clarify her intentions, saying:

“If you want to go onto my page and see some of my content, you can see some of the things I regularly do, the actions that I take to help the communities that are marginalized in the United States.” She reiterated that she made the video to teach her sons about respecting marginalized communities.

New York Times-style reporter Taylor Lorenz shared the video on Twitter, writing:

“This mom on TikTok is going viral for having her kids kneel and pray to black women.” The response on Twitter was more critical, with some saying that the mom should not become famous for her actions.

One person tweeted, “If we run out of clout to mine here on earth, we’ll have to mine clout from asteroids.”

The video was uploaded on December 30, 2020, before the Electoral College votes were counted and before the pro-Trump march on the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Despite the backlash, the video continues to garner views on TikTok.
