Special Counsel John Durham has lost his case against attorney Michael Sussman who was accused of lying to the FBI.
According to Politico, the jury deliberated for about six hours:
The jury deliberated for about six hours before acquitting Michael Sussmann, 57, on the single felony charge he faced: that he lied when he allegedly denied he was acting on behalf of any client in alerting the FBI to claims that a secret server linked Trump and a Moscow bank with ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Those who paid attention grew worried after jury selection was made when the judge allowed Clinton and AOC donors to be seated despite objections from Durham’s team.
The prosecution was faced with a jury that contained three Clinton donors, an AOC donor, and a woman whose daughter played on the same team as Sussmann’s daughter. Couple that with the fact that US District Judge Christopher Cooper’s – who presided over the case – wife is Lisa Page’s lawyer.
Sussman trial:
– Judge’s wife is Lisa Page’s lawyer
– One of the juror’s kids is Sussman’s kid’s rowing teammate
– Multiple jurors were Hillary supporters/donors
There was never going to be a conviction.

Some have said that Sussman’s acquittal was the DC swamp protecting their own.
However, the biggest eyebrow-raising red flag was statements made by the jury’s forewoman.
“I don’t think it should have been prosecuted. There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI,” she said. “Personally, I don’t think it should have been prosecuted because I think we have better time or resources to use or spend to other things that affect the nation as a whole than a possible lie to the FBI. We could spend that time more wisely.”
What?
You mean a lie that allowed the FBI to spy on a presidential candidate – costing millions of dollars – followed by the expense of the Mueller investigation. A lie that dragged a nation through turmoil for over two years apparently isn’t a big deal when you are a member of the swamp.
The statement isn’t impartial and if it was said during selection it would have been challenged. It doesn’t matter how you feel about the law the trial is about if the law was broken.
Poor General Flynn did less and the deep state dragged him through the mud.
Michael Flynn was dragged through legal hell for years on charges he lied to the FBI even though it was clear they entrapped him. Hillary’s former campaign manager literally testified she gave the green light to spread the fake Alfa Bank story. Sussman was acquitted anyway.
