Joe Biden might very well be the biggest enemy the United States has seen in terms of gun ownership since King George III.
We all know this. Just look at the myriad of anti-gun measures that he has tried to push through in his time occupying the highest office in the land.
Shoot, you think these anti-gun legislators in states all over the country came up with these ideas on their own? Half of them have been in office longer than the Usurper In Chief has been pointing his bony fingers around dictating to them what to do.
They’re taking every single order that he gives and are trying to comply in order for him to get more power against the people who did not vote for him in 2020.
As we all know, if Gavin Newsom got an edict from Joe Biden to outlaw eating ham on Sundays in California, he would try and truck every last pig out of the state quicker than you can say “violation of rights.”
However, as with all things, the closer that you get to an event actually happening the gravity of everything that particular situation entails will sink in. Everyone who has taken a cross country drive knows this.
You’ll be laying in bed the night before, and it will hit you that “Oh man, I really have to drive thirteen hours tomorrow.”
That’s what is happening to the Democrats as it gets closer to the actual election.
A recent Rasmussen poll asked prospective voters whether or not they would approve of the Democratic Party finding another candidate to replace Joe Biden before the election.
Fifty-four percent of them said yes. Which effectively makes Biden a placeholder because nobody better has come along. He’s the best the Democrats can come up with. Biden is that movie that just happens to be on television that you and your spouse decide to watch because you couldn’t decide on anything else better.
If this were the Oscars, he’s a seat filler.
Being a seat filler notwithstanding, he has championed more legislation against gun ownership than any reasonable citizen should endure.
The thing that people have to remember across the board is that it’s not just Republicans that own guns. That’s one of the biggest myths that Democratic lawmakers try to perpetuate. What they don’t realize is that while a good number of Democrats are as goofy as a football bat when it comes to just about every single issue; there are a number that are indeed gun owners.
Sure, they don’t talk about it because they don’t want to get uninvited from parties they’d otherwise be attending; but there are Democrat gun owners.
No matter what side of the political spectrum you are on, there is always going to be one issue that you break ranks with your party on and are compelled to say “that’s enough” and vote opposite.
For a good number of Democrats according to this poll, it seems that they might be ready for someone that will at the very least stop treating the Second Amendment like the red-headed stepchild of American rights.
