With much drama, Chris Wallace left Fox News to work for CNN to help launch their streaming service CNN+.
Wallace was meant to be one of the headliners for the service, but it was immediately shut down by the new bosses who purchased the network due to its poor performance.
Reports emerged that Wallace had daily meltdowns and would scream at CNN staff.

After the dust settled, Wallace was given his own show called on the cable network called “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace,” which airs on Sunday evenings. Instead of covering just politics, Wallace will also interview celebrities.
The former Fox News host is scheduled to interview people like Tyler Perry, A-Rod, and Shania Twain.
It bombed.

Nielsen Media Research tracked ratings for Wallace’s show, Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, which debuted on CNN Sunday. The ratings show that there were 401,000 viewers, down 29% from the average, and 44,000 among those aged 25 to 54, down 64% from the average.
Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy, a long-standing Fox News program that aired at the same time as Wallace’s, received 1.3 million viewers and 78,000 viewers aged 25 to 54.
Over the weekend, Fox News was the most-watched cable news network, with 1.2 million total viewers and 116,000 viewers aged 25-54 in prime time.
The “legendary” broadcaster could only deliver 401,000 viewers during the 7 pm time slot.
That is pretty pathetic.
Shortly before CNN+ was shut down, we wrote, “No matter where Wallace lands, he is going to be tied to the failure at CNN+. After all, he was supposed to be the streaming service’s big draw and wasn’t. Chris Wallace’s name is about to go into the same column Brian Williams and Dan Rather.”
So far, that is holding up.
