Welcome to Joe Biden’s America.
There is outrage in Los Angeles County and it has landed another Soros-backed District Attorney in hot water. Residents are outraged after a local mom walking her baby was run over in Venice.
A 16-year-old who was on probation for poisoning a teen girl’s drink in 2019 stole a car and ran over a mom & baby.
THREAD (1/4) A 16 y/o hit & run driver in a stolen car who ran over a mom & child in Venice was sentenced on Friday to 5-7 months in juvie camp. LA DA @GeorgeGascon office tells me this was an “appropriate resolution”, but I’ve learned he has a prior criminal history. @FoxNews pic.twitter.com/HupMw9KRFu

“I thought those were the last moments of our lives, we were dead. That feeling, along with the memory of a car accelerating directly into us will haunt me forever,” the mother statement said. “I have never been more surprised or disappointed and, in fact, I have never felt so victimized as I have by the system and current policies of LA’s DA, George Gascón.”
(2/4) Per multiple law enforcement sources, the juvie was on probation, & violating it, at the time of this hit & run, and he had been previously convicted of felony poisoning after he spiked a teen girl’s drink at Palmdale high school in 2019. She was hospitalized. @FoxNews

The 16-year-old was sentenced to a five to seven-month youth camp and the DA’s office is standing by the sentence.
“The decisions made in this case were based on the facts and the law. Fortunately, the baby was uninjured and the mother received lacerations to her elbow. The Sheriff’s Department agreed with the felony charges that were filed. The Probation Department recommended and the court sentenced the minor to a youth camp for five to seven months. We stand by the purpose of the juvenile justice system to rehabilitate young people.”
The mother said that she is a lifelong Democrat but will now be joining the effort to recall DA Gascon and is outraged by the light sentence.
