About an hour and a half ago, a 13-year-old boy with a toy gun was shot by police officers in Baltimore. His wounds are not fatal.
According to CBS Baltimore, the boy ran when confronted by police, who say it is not clear why.
The case is reminiscent of that of Tamir Rice, the 12-year-old Cleveland boy who was shot and killed by police about 1.5 seconds after they arrived to the park where he was playing with a toy gun.
The Baltimore boy is expected to survive. There are no further details known about him at this time.
